A closed-door dinner on AI and the changing marketing playbook
AI is reshaping how marketing gets done - from the technology behind it to the teams doing the work. We're bringing together a small group of NYC marketing leaders for a candid conversation about what's actually working, what's overhyped, and what they're doing differently as a result. Twelve seats. Off the record.
Megan cofounded Queen One after a decade running product and customer marketing at Wunderkind, Olapic, and Siteimprove, most recently as VP of Product Marketing. She has built and rebuilt marketing teams through more than one platform shift, which is why she is the right person to ask what AI actually changes about how the work gets done and what it leaves alone.
Tim comes at marketing from the operations side. As Director of Operations at brkfst.io he ran marketing, sales, finance, and product for a creative platform that grew from a small startup into a multi-million dollar business, and he has since focused on retention and growth efficiency. He is the person at the table who asks whether the new workflow actually pays for itself.
Brian Williams is CEO of hireworks, which helps US technology companies build teams with embedded talent in Colombia, Argentina, Bulgaria, and Brazil. He came up inside the New York startup ecosystem, first as an engineer, then a recruiter, then as a VP at an early-stage venture fund supporting portfolio companies on hiring and go-to-market. He also runs XTAM, an enterprise AI advisory firm that puts AI systems into production for PE portfolio companies and government agencies, so he spends his days on both sides of the question this dinner is about.
Rebecca Blum is co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer of hireworks, which embeds top talent from LATAM and Europe into fast-growing companies as an EOR. She previously spent nearly ten years at Rent the Runway, rising to VP, Head of Talent, where she led executive recruitment and hiring across the entire business after running business development for the company. Her earlier career spans 17+ years in digital startups and media, including sales development leadership at DailyCandy/NBCUniversal.
Chatham House throughout. No recordings, no press, nobody posting about it after.
Nobody's selling anything, and that includes us. Partners come as practitioners.
No panels, no slides, no keynote. Everyone's in the conversation.
One question on the table, picked because everyone here is already dealing with it.
The hireworks Dinner Series puts a small group of leaders from fast-growing tech companies around one table, with no stage, no slides, and nobody selling anything. Each dinner is built around a single question everyone in the room is already dealing with.
